Role Outline

Significant upgrade and modifications to key infrastructure at Devonport - project within Government Major Projects Portfolio. Client deployed as client advisors enabling, supporting, assuring delivery of facilities within approved cost/time envelopes.

Role is post contract Quantity Surveyor joining the team deployed across Plymouth and Bristol to support this key client during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities include:

• 3 days per week on site across Bristol and Plymouth with some WFH
• Supporting the following post contract activities
• Evaluation of defined cost
• Defined cost audits
• Contract outturn forecasts
• Assessment of Compensation Events & Quotations People/ Behaviours
• Skills, behaviors and experience to operate in a challenging commercial environment in a collaborative manner with Client, Prime Contractor, Delivery Partners, Main Works Contractors, Design Houses and wider Supply Chain. Customers and Growth Delivery Excellence

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Relevant Degree & Professional affiliation
• NEC3 or 4 ECC experience - experience working under Main Option E

Advantageous to have experience of

• Heavy Civils construction in a high hazard and regulated environment
• Knowledge of Single Source Contracting Regulations and the AAR Requirements
