Safety Culture Head
Job Purpose
· Provide SHES direction, guidance and leadership to NFXP Onshore PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) across all EPC Packages within the assigned area.
· Perform oversight of NFXP Onshore safety culture transformation process and human factors related perfromance to ensure Project and QatarEnergy LNG performance expectations are met.
· Support the NFXP Onshore EPC CONTRACTORS and provide expert advice and guidance on effective safety culture development and transformation, and drives continual improvement during all phases of the Project.
· Supports the SHES Excellence Division Manager in developing, evaluating and continually improving the SHES Performance Excellence elements of the PMT and CONTRACTOR Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES) management systems, and the effective implementation of SHES plans and procedures at site in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the Contract SHES Instructions Part 1 to 5, and CONTRACTOR’s SHES plans and Procedures.
· Supports the SHES Excellence Division Manager in the design and implementation of safety culture transformation initiatives, and drives sustainability and continual improvement of these programs in all phases of the project.
· Support PMT and CONTRACTOR incident investigation teams of all EPC packages in the investigations of human factor related incidents, during both, ivestigations and development of corrective actions.
· Strong leadership skills.
· Excellent verbal and written English skills; confident and clear presentation development and delivery.
· Able to cope with excessive workload and work under extreme pressure, keeping the team calm and focussed.
· Strong teamwork facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization
· Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain a world-class SHES performance.
· Creates high quality and accurate output in a timely manner.
· Team player who can effectively collaborate within Project Teams and with external parties.
· Able to identify and analyse complex issues and provide recommendations.
· Computer literate, with the ability to use Microsoft office applications, email, internet and video conferencing tools.

· NVQ Level 6 Diploma, or Bachelor of Science, or NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
· TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader (or equivalent)
· Human Factors and/or Safety Culture related qualification
· Minimum of twelve (12) years industry relevant HSE experience, with strong focus on safety culture, human factors and investigation experience.
· International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or Client, involved in the construction of onshore production facilities (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments (expenditure >US$ 1 Bn).
