Contract: Lead Riser Engineer / France

The client is a Major Oil Company, they are looking to hire a Lead Riser Engineer to work on a Brazil deepwater development (key asset). on a 12 month renewable contract.

The role is based at the SURF Contractor's office in Paris and will have regular trips to Brazil.

Experience required:

- The client is looking for someone with relevant experience in rigid / flexible riser engineering for deepwater Projects: development of detail design specifications, performance and / or validation of detail design calculations for Risers, follow-up of fabrication and installation activities.

- Relevant experience in rigid / flexible riser engineering for deepwater Projects: development of detail design specifications, performance and / or validation of detail design calculations for Risers, follow-up of fabrication and installation activities

- Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and Company general specifications.

- Previous experience with STTR solution type for Deepwater development is preferable

- Sound organizational ability, with respect for planning & budget(s).

- Language skills: Proficient in English. Portuguese is an asset in the local environment.
