Contract: Construction Head Electrical & Instrumentation / Qatar

TAX Free Contractual Job Opportunity has just been made available for an exprienced Construction Head Electrical & Instrumentation  to be based in Qatar by a leading operating oil and gas company. 

Job Purpose 

To review procedures, method statements, JSA’s, work practices for execution of NFE Onshore Project Construction activities. Provides leadership and oversight for execution activities on the Electrical & Instrumentation  scope of work.
 
Min Requirements:

Qualifications 
 
·         Strong Knowledge of the execution sequencing of installing high voltage cables within facility corridors.  LNG tank floor electrical heating installation.  Electrical and instrumentation component installation on tanks and new compression facilities.

Knowledge and/or Experience 
 
·         Minimum ten (10) years experience in a relevant field
·         Recognized degree in engineering or construction management, and or prior work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above.
·         Experience in major Construction Projects (including brown-field work) with total capital expenditure >USD$1B
·         Recent experience (last 5 years) on Qatargas Projects and working in Ras Laffan Industrial City
·         Electrical & Instrumentation Construction / LNG tank electrical sub-system construction/ New compression facility electrical construction and commissioning

Technical and Business Skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Ability to review and comment on technical documents
·         Good interpersonal skills
