The Role
Deliver project support to the Engineering team with GIS design deliverables post Land Access Approvals through engineering design, detailed design, construction and as built. You will lead comprehensive support and development of the spatial platform through development, review and maintenance of Geomatics processes and procedures, ensuring improvement opportunities are realised.
This is a Brisbane based position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice. 12 month contract with possibility of extension.

- Working knowledge and experience with ESRI suite of GIS software at version latest minus 2 at minimum;
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Portal;
- Experience in using FME and Model Builder;
- Experience in working with as constructed data and CAD data;
- Experience with mobile GPS and GIS technology;
- Solid understanding of web services and map services;
- Highly proficient at creating quality maps and design plans;
- Proficient at developing process maps and writing standards and procedures;
- An ability to work effectively with, and contribute to team outcomes.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Geospatial Engineering degree or equivalent;
- Proven experience using FME
- Working knowledge and experience with ESRI suite of GIS software at version level 10.6
- Project experience in similar role where supporting project delivery in engineering, construction, as built phases.
- Proficiency at creating quality maps and design plans • Proficiency in working with as constructed data and CAD data • Experience with mobile GPS and GIS technology
- Good communication in liaising with other Geomatics staff, Engineers, Planners, Access, Contractors/Constructors
- Coal Seam Gas industry experience is not essential but would be advantageous.
