Cost Analyst

Long term contract (12+ months)

Location: Calgary, AB

Our client is currently looking for a Cost Analyst to work a 1 year contract position, based out of Calgary Alberta.  Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the following areas: SAP, Capital Projects, and Cost Management.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing the information required by the Project Team to adequately control each project and ultimately control and forecast the project program.
• Coordinates project funding and tracks cost.
• In close coordination with extended project team, develops and maintain program schedules and cost reports.
• Enhances project performance metrics tracking, including cost and scheduling benchmarks.
• Reports on overall spend metrics and develop value earned forecasts.

 

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience working as a Cost Analyst (Senior Level)
• Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field.
• Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems.
• Influences others to achieve objectives.
• Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset
• Capital projects
