Contract: Sr Rotating Machinery Consultant / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

Education (Diploma):    
An Engineering Degree from a major university required – Mechanical, Nuclear, or Oil & Gas preferred
Relevant Experience:
No less than 7 years in similar position History of working with complex processes and organizations preferred.  Familiarity with industrial process equipment, machinery, and controls.  Experience with analyzing and solving technical problems using data-driven approach.  Demonstrated effective communication with management, customers, and co-workers
Technical competencies:
Experience with rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines) preferred.  Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (manuals, datasheets, PIDs, etc.).  Experience with process trending tools.  Uses engineering knowledge and available resources to investigate, analyze, and resolve machinery reliability issues.  Strong troubleshooting skills
Communication Skills etc:
English Skills: Advanced, written and verbal - Position requires frequent communication with English speaking co-workers, stakeholders, and external resources. Must be self-directed and able to balance short- and long-term priorities, in a culturally diverse organization.   Strong written and verbal communication skills
