** Control System and Instrumentation Engineer **
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Duration: 12 months renewable contract

I am currently recruiting for a I&C Engineer for a leading Oil and Gas client of ours. 

Job Description:
-Control System and Instrumentation Engineering FEED Contractors related activities supervision and coordination
-Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines
-Technical papers preparation to support management position for clarifications/ decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners
-Deviation requests coordination to the project referential, in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule
-Ensures that ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety System) design and components meet the Company requirements, applicable regulations, and good engineering practices in terms of design, maintainability, operability, and security.

Job Requirements: 
- Experience in Control System and Instrumentation in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields.
- Experience in project at all life-cycle stages of project development (FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering, etc)
- Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, etc
- Adept at designing and engineering for the Instruments and control systems like DCS (Conventional & Field bus), Fire & Gas, Safety shutdown systems, Remote telemetry units, Gas metering systems, SMART instruments, Liquid metering systems, Multiphase flow meter, High integrity pressure protection systems (HIPPS), HVAC, field instruments like transmitters, Control valves, Shut down Valves and Choke Valves, etc.
- Strong knowledge with International Structural codes (i.e. API, AISC, DNV, Eurocode) and General Specifications related to structures
