The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting an International consultancy firm who are requiring an experience Project Manager with High-speed Rail experience for a new project in Egypt.

Opportunity:

The opportunity is to join a 'live' project as part of an international team based in country but supported by offshore resources to ensure its successful delivery. This would be a long-term position and is a high profile project not only in country but regionally.

Responsibilities:

As Project Manager you shall be responsible for leading a team which is supervising the construction of all components including track, civils, stations, depots, structures & systems. The successful individual shall be working on behalf of the end client ensuring and monitoring progress, compiling budgetary reports and ensuring standards are maintained. They will also be responsible for ensuring, with the help of their team that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Typical requirements for the role:

*Previous High-speed rail experience is essential. *

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 20+years of Professional Rail Experience
• Held a Project Management/ Team Leader role for a Consultancy or PMC on a Rail project
• Regional experience would be beneficial.

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is around $17,000 per month with a full package including Flights, transport, insurance, per diem.
