Contract: KSU Lead Automation Engineer / Atyrau

Job Specification and requirements: 
The Lead Automation Engineer will manage Phase 3 & 4 Automation Engineering, required for successful completion of KSU, while reporting to the Engineering Manager. 
This position is required to have a minimum of 7-10 years automation experience related to oil and gas processing facilities. 
Tengiz experience is strongly desirable, along with previous experience working in brownfield locations and undertaking electrical substation projects. 
The Automation Engineer must be able to provide oversight of Automation works and have experience in developing Automation Philosophy, PAS/SIS/Telecom/ECS specifications, design of Automation interface with Electrical systems (PAS/SIS interface with intelligent MCC).
In addition, the candidate shall have expertise in design of HVAC control system, Fire and Gas and have experience in implementation of Smart Plant Instrumentation (INtools). 
This position requires an extensive interface with Automation and Power Operations
Must also have experience in scheduling, planning, design, materials control, procurement and construction of automation and telecom works for industrial applications, including oil and gas processing facilities. 
The Lead Automation Engineer shall be capable and experienced in Automation and Telecom design management, project management and construction. 
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be astute in coordinating and interfacing between the engineering and Contractor teams, working within a multidisciplinary, multinational environment. 
Candidate shall have experience working in complex brownfield projects with tie-in to existing Automation system (preferably Honeywell based) in Engineering FEED and DED phases.
Experience in managing Engineering Contractors throughout FEED, DED, Construction phases and reviewing/approving all deliverables including Vendor deliverables.
Self-motivated team player with ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multinational team
General Responsibilities 
•    Ensure all project information (related to design, procurement, and construction) is accurate and timely, meets relevant standards and specifications, and is made available to the Project Team in line with the required schedule.  
•    Review and approve all Automation design documentation, produced by the Engineering Contractor, and ensure that plant personnel provide input to the design at each stage of the project.  
•    Ensure key stakeholders (Plant Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering) are effectively engaged at all phases of project development, related to Automation Engineering.  
•    Ensure timely issue or release of all required drawings, specifications, and procedures, necessary for field installation.  
•    Proficient with Systems Completion work processes, including systemization and sequencing, used to manage system technical certification and handover/turnover (design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Start-Up activities).
•    Build effective automation or instrumentation engineering teams.
