Contract: ELC Specialist - Assurance / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

Environmental SME – Experience in overseeing key deliverables and programs necessary to support major capital project environmental requirements for pre and post contract award.  Demonstrated knowledge of relevant IFC Performance Standards, with proven ability to apply the principles and processes to develop and guide Company and Contractors on a risk-based management of significant issues.  Experienced in supporting and assuring Project activities to IFC ELC performance standards while facilitating project execution.  
Leadership - Demonstrated Leadership Accountability through examples of recognizing strategic deliverables and tactical tasks to implement the necessary programs and execution support tools to deliver results and effectively influence beyond the function to get result the right way.  Demonstrated capability to be an effective team member to achieve Project Milestones while meeting company/client HSE performance expectations. 
Technical - Broad knowledge and demonstrated experience across the full spectrum of ELC-related aspects specifically for preparation and facilitation of ELC Audits.  Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement through the implementation of ELC Awareness and Assurance programs to mitigate risk and drive performance.  Able to manage post audit / inspections follow up activity in order to address any observations incompliances.
Building OC - Demonstrated capability to develop both interpersonal and technical skills areas.  Able to drive integration and environmental awareness/ownership with other functions.

Job Specification and requirements: 
•    Minimum years of total industry experience required for this position: 2-3
•    Minimum years of relevant field-based experience on capital projects required for this position: 2-3 
•    Experience of environmental site management on construction projects (preferably oil and gas)
•    Understanding of International Finance Requirements, notably Equator Principles and Performance Standards
•    Level of education required: College/University Degree
•    Degree Discipline: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Natural Resources or similar
