WORK PREPARATOR / Netherlands, Europe

The leader in specialist infrastructure recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced Work Preparator to join a well known main contractor currently constructing a huge multi-disciplinary civil project in The Netherlands.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil and or Structural engineering.
• At least 5 years experience in Infrastructure projects
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Dutch is a bonus
• Willingness to relocate to Amsterdam
• Experience with Deep Cut, concrete foundations or Form work
• In-depth understanding of AUTO CAD

As a Work Preparator, you will oversee technical and engineering project to assure a high level of accuracy and quality. You will work as part of a team to translate requirements into implementable tasks with practical timelines. You will also collaborate with clients to find and solve any problems in the project plans and budgeting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned technical and engineering projects
• Translating client needs and organising practical terms into required timelines to be met by the team
• Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project runs smoothly
• Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring that they are implemented
• Hosting frequent meetings with teams to build morale and inform them of their daily activities
