Content Writer / Arbil

We are looking for Local candidates to work as Content Writer for a technology company in Erbil.



Contract Type: Permanent

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday

Location: Erbil



Job Summary:

The Content Writer will work with a team of designers to make sure the content in digital products is describing the feature, and marketing goal or is descriptive enough to guide the clients using the digital products. He/ She will suggest changes to content already in applications and will help translators to translate and understand what he/ she is trying to achieve to make sure the content is correct in different languages.



Main Responsibilities:

• Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest.
• Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
• Contribute to and work with relevant teams to develop, manage and implement the digital side of integrated marketing campaigns by making sure written content represents marketing needs.
• Revising content whenever changes are needed.
• Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
• Working with teams to define the required content needs.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
• Working with the internal design team when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Literature, Marketing, or other related fields.
• Fluency in Kurdish. Excellent writing and editing skills in English, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
• Experience as a content creator in prior roles creating strong and engaging content is a plus.
• Arabic Language is a plus.
