Process Engineer / Aberdeen

The client is currently recruiting for the position of Process Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the safe operation of company's upstream facilities; acting as a process safety ambassador, improving ways of working, and delivering plant changes to manage process safety risks to ALARP
* Driving greenhouse gas reduction; identifying and implementing initiatives to accelerate progress towards company's Net Zero ambitions.
* Maximising performance through production system optimisation (PSO), increasing production, eliminating waste and reducing costs.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Significant exposure to upstream or midstream operations support.
* Ability to prepare technical drawings (P&IDs, HAC etc), reports and procedures
* Experience with standard process modelling tools such as Unisim (or Hysys)
* Experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation (eg HAZOPs/LOPA)
* Must be customer-facing (they will need to engage with multiple stakeholders)
* Experience with company's standards and systems
* Experience of NGL recovery and fractionation
* Chartered Engineer (MIChemE or equivalent)
