DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to oversee all financial functions including accounting, consolidation of financials, external & internal audit, budget and forecasting, tax planning, and treasury of the Project Companies and Holding Companies within the Super portfolio into which the company has made investment.

Responsible to oversee all financial functions including accounting, consolidation of financials, external & internal audit, budget and forecasting, tax planning, and treasury of the Project Companies and Holding Companies within the Super portfolio into which the company has made investment.
Finance activities may include:
- Provides technical expertise and advice to review revenue and expense budgets, understands financial reports, and financial responsibilities, including but not limited to budget forecasting, variance analysis, revenue analysis, and asset accounting at the Project Company and Holding Company levels
- Cash and working capital management – works closely with the partner’s finance & accounting team to review and understand the cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage vendor payments, loan payments, loan reserves and cash balances
- Coordinates with different stakeholders to ensure conformance on the agreed terms and conditions of the Shareholders’ Agreement
- Reviews financial reports and accounting statements to ensure conformity with Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Coordinates with other accounting professionals of the group to ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on time
- Selects and manages ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
- Understands the banking process of the Project Companies to ensure compliance with the Management Delegation Matrix
- Ensures compliance with loan covenants, local tax, banking regulations, and other regulators
- Understands, complies, and enforces the existing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Reviews financial viability of new investment opportunities, in Vietnam or other countries
- Reviews the Project Companies’ transactions and disbursements prior to approval of the project Deputy CEO
- 5 - 10 years’ relevant management experience in accounting or finance
- Corporate Finance or Project Finance experience an advantage
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and preferably with audit experience
- Preferably with work experience in the energy industry
- Knowledge of VAS, IFRS, and Vietnam Tax regulations
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and team mentality
- Excellent interaction management skills; able to work in a complex working environment
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English; knowing Thai is a plus
