Purpose:

The company is actively looking for an individual to join the internal communications team who can bring stories to life, whether that is through a perfectly written paragraph or by designing a graphic that best illustrates the message. The communications team is challenged to move quickly and capture success across the company; this allows you to develop and deploy diverse skills. To succeed in this role, you'll need experience building a project plan (or communications plan), managing workflow, anticipating adjustments, and communicating our progress.

 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver deadlines, prioritize requests, and manage expectations.
• Planning communications projects and developing content

• Here are sample projects that help shape the role:
  • Build campaigns to help teams advance on their goals
  • Develop new content, review work, edit and proofread content
  • Build project plans that are detailed, timebased and achievable
  • Video scripts and storyboards
  • Review and update presentations
  • Develop ideas for graphics that illustrate ideas or complex concepts

Skills and Qualifications:

• Most important is the proven success and experience with building agile project plans, interviewing experts, writing new copy and proofing and editing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with the work described above and at least two years of relevant experience in a corporate environment preferred.
