JOB PURPOSE
- Responsible for the business development and strategic development of all Polymers products
throughout Philippines and supporting business development in other SEA countries as required.
This will involve identification of new business opportunities, initiating and developing customer
contacts. In addition, it will also involve collating information on industry outlook, business trends,
local market conditions and market price updates for regional HQ's formulation of marketing
strategies and plans. - Serve as the company’s key liaison representative in the Philippines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage customers and local distributors in Philippines, especially key accounts/contract
customers, and make customer visits to develop relationships to achieve volume and revenue
plans. - Expand polymer business in the country by identifying growth opportunities in new products,
new applications and new markets and developing new customers. - Serve as key person for Company’s Philippines presence - liaising with key industry associations
and managing the virtual office activities. - Develop and refine Philippines sales strategy, contracting strategy, global/regional accounts
and distribution strategies jointly with key stakeholders - Monitor market trends, competitive activities and strategies, evolving environmental and
compliance/legal issues in country and report out - Attend to initial investigations and help resolve any complaints and issues according to company
guidance and direction - Process the sales of company material per allocation, monitor and update market price to
maintain integrity of company pricing policy - Prepare sales forecast, process sales as per allocation, and recommend competitive pricing
strategies - Monitor order processing from SC creation, payments, order release, vessel booking and
dispatching documents together with CS and SCM team - Identify initiatives and process improvements that will help Company’s efficiency, product quality
and image in the country - Prepare sales updates and reports to higher management.
- Represent sales team in key projects and initiatives as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymers or a business related
discipline - More than 8 years proven record in promoting polymers and petrochemical related products
and with good contacts within the domestic market.
