Senior Piping Engineers – Stavanger / Norway

Function

• Design of piping systems and pipe supports.
• Preparation of piping documentation for procurement, prefabrication, installation and asbuilt.
• Preparation of study reports.
• Quality check of discipline deliverables.
• Follow-up of vendors for piping deliveries.
• Follow-up on piping documentation and LCI.
• Carry out offshore field survey.
• Close cooperation with other disciplines and suppliers (project dependencies).
• Cooperation on optimization of good technical design and cost-effective solution.
• Assist Project Management with estimating time and cost of projects.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in a relevant discipline, relevant experience within piping design might compensate for lack of formal education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience from the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of design code ASME B31.3, NORSOK, PED, TR2000 and other Equinor piping requirements.
• Good knowledge of offshore standards / regulations and relevant technical / professional requirements.
• Extensive experience with execution projects and studies (early phase studies, concept studies, FEED.)
• Experience with follow-up of engineering and technical vendors.
• Experience from offshore projects.
• 3D CAD – PDMS/E3D.
• 2D CAD – MicroStation / AutoCAD knowledge.
• Required experience with design of critical piping lines.
• Experience from Equinor M&M is preferred.
• Knowledge of well projects/well systems.
• Multidiscipline knowledge / approach.
