**QC Inspector**

One of our Oilfield clients based in Dyce, is currently looking for an experienced QC Inspector to help & grow a new part of their business.

This individual would be the sole QC Inspector on site, and the client is looking for someone who has experience of working without supervision & has the ability to report back findings without any guidance.

Additionally, it would be very advantageous for you to have experience of measuring dimensions, using the likes of vernier calipers, and have good knowledge around ISO 9001.

The role will be a standard 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, and the client is flexible with start / finish times.

Main responsibilities:

• Drive the goods in process to ensure components delivered meet stated requirements.
• Inspect products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet required quality standards
• First article inspections, including documented inspection reports
• Create NCRs and log through relevant system
• Working with internal departments to prioritise workload based on Client demand
• Management of controlled quarantine area and non-conforming products
• Supplier visits to witness manufacturing progress and inspections prior to release
• Responsible for ensuring all equipment is calibrated and recorded as required
