Client is looking for their next QA/QC Inspector based in Yvelines. 

This role is paid on a daily, competitive rate. 

This contract is set to last until December 2024.

The QA/QC inspector is the guarantor within the workshop of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. 

As such, his main responsibilities are as follows:
  • Edition and/or verification of quality monitoring document
  • Documentary monitoring during the different phases of a project: reception of materials (especially pipeline), manufacturing, testing, or even management of quality event
  • Technical inspection to verify the conformity of manufacturing with reference documents
  • Organization and participation in inspections
  • Quality referent / support within the workshop
  • Immediate reporting of any deviations/NCs and monitoring of the processing of these deviations/NCs
  • Guarantor of documentary traceability of various Quality records during the Project and archiving at the end of the project

Cross-functional work
The Assurance and Quality Control Inspector works in collaboration with the production manager, the welding engineers, the HSE Project manager, the production team leaders, the workshop supervisors, the maintenance department, the scheduling service, technical experts for workshop activities and all Support services.

Technical skills :
  • Engineer or Technician by training
  • Experience between 8 and 10 years minimum
  • Previous experience of QA/QC on project desired.
  • Exemplary HSE and mastery of continuous improvement approaches;
  • Perfect knowledge of ISO 9001;
  • Experience in the oil services sector would be a plus;
  • Good writing skills;
  • English desired: read, spoken, written (level, B2)
  • Exemplary QHSE

Specific features of the Welding workshop:
  • Be familiar with welding and steel manufacturing,
  • Be able to follow up on Quality recommendations during manufacturing
  • BTS training with mechanical/materials orientation
  • IWS, IWT or IWE training (recommended)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC inspector,
  • Be able to follow up on Quality recommendations during manufacturing
