Pipelines & Cables Division Manager / Qatar

Works under the direction of Offshore Topsides and Pipelines Project Manager to manage the EPCI for pipelines and cables. Full project manager responsibility to manage EPCI contract and deliver on the required scope per project objectives. Accountable for full team including engineering, procurement, quality, safety, construction, and offshore installation.

About this role:

Manages the preparation EPC award in line with the contract strategy and approved by Senior Project Management.Manages the project deliverables and activities associated with Pipelines & Cables Project and ensures they are achieved in accordance with the project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements.Defines the project team organization for every step of the project and ensures suitable mobilization of a skilled team and evaluates the performance of Pipelines team.Manage Contractor achievement in accordance with contractual requirements.Manages the offshore marine spread to ensure efficient and safe operations in accordance with project timelines and budgetary constraints.Plans and identifies upcoming tasks, potential problem areas, technical information, staffing priorities and identifies solutions where needed. Ensure application of Company specifications and respect of internal and external rules.Promote innovation and cost reductions when seeking technical solutions, prioritizing reliability, safety of installations and personnel, respect of the environment.Prepare hand-over of the pipelines, cables, and valve stations to COMPANY operations team.Work collaboratively within COMPANY organization to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives.

What you need to bring:

Bachelor’s Degree and experience of Offshore Contractor Management as Construction Manager, Project Manager or similar, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.12 years’ experience on Pipeline construction Offshore including coating yards, offshore pipelay, pre-commissioning and commissioning out of which 10 years’ experience in multidiscipline design, fabrication, installation & HUC of Offshore pipeline facilities.High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, pre commissioning, installation and offshore hook-up and commissioning of offshore facilities.Excellent communication and written skills.Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English. Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
