Senior Quantity Surveyor, Paris / France

Client is a small, up-and-coming specialist Project and Cost Management Consultancy operating across France. They are involved in a number of significant construction projects in and around the Champs Elysées, and are looking to hire an English- and French-speaking Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Paris.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for:

• Working as part of the commercial team, preparing the pre-qualification submissions, commercial review of tenders, sub-contracts tendered and related documentation
• Developing each packages’ commercial strategy, final accounts, project cash-flow, completing the submission of interim applications, procuring the packages’ supply chain in compliance with standard company policy
• Preparing cost forecasts against design along with advising on any contract arrangements and documentation
• Drafting appropriate BOQ documents and preparing necessary commercial reports such as the project financial position including monthly cost value reconciliations and project forecasting

PROFILE

• Between 5-10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying on major building projects, with some recent experience in France
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, or an associated, relevant subject
• International experience would be preferred but is not essential
• Flexible and adaptable: able to work on a variety of projects
• Excellent communication skills in English, with some French required
