Lead of Claims / Qatar

Job Purpose

Support the delivery of the Commercial management plan for the Project. Responsible for providing technical, commercial and functional direction related to all aspects of overall Claims Avoidance and Management, including the formulation and administration of strategies, associated governance, claims register, internal position papers, Company position papers, health checks and case files, and coordinating overall project responses in relation to the Contract.
Liaise with project team personnel in technical and functional guidance on contract management. Maintain contact with other Management personnel and Functional Managers.

Qualifications

Knowledge and/or Experience

Minimum of 8 years experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry, with exposure in business and contract management including project controls, cost and schedule development, tender preparation and contract management and 4 years being part of multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams and as Lead of Claims for megaprojects.
