Contract: Electrical Design Engineer (Fire Detection) / Manchester, Greater Manchester

The client is currently recruiting for an Electrical design Engineer that will be working on fire detection packages on a contract basis for one of the industry leading clients in the Manchester area.

Location: Manchester - Office / Remote working

Duration/Hours: Initially 3 months / 37.5hr week

Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)

The Job:
* Understanding and interpreting client's technical specifications
* Design Engineer will create the system layout and design
* Work closely with engineering and quality teams
* Interpreting Approval Authority rules and Regulations

Requirements:
* Have an Electrical degree or similar qualification
* Knowledge and experience working with and designing to BS5839
* Experience in design of fire detection systems in the power industry
* Experience in interpreting clients technical specifications
* Experience using Auto CAD systems
