Fantastic opportunity to join one of the world’s leading Oil, Gas and Energy companies that have been operating in New Zealand for around 120 years. They are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to come on board and provide support to both the Operations and Engineering team based at Wellington Airport.

With no experience required this person only needs to come in with a strong educational background and some real drive to start laying the foundations for a successful career. The position will be an excellent learning platform and will help to develop both your operations management / coordination skills and engineering skills across a wide range of projects on pipework, tanks, pumps, and all associated systems. The mixture of both operations and engineering is suited to someone who is keen to expand their plant/field experience and develop a career within a global energy business.

While we are open to those with limited experience, this does not mean we won't look at those who do have a foot in the door already. If you have experience within either capacity highlighted, then we would still very much like to hear from you.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:

• Relevant Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering)
• Any experience working on projects including engineering, construction, and project management activities would be advantageous but NOT required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational, planning and co-ordination skills
• High degree of personal accountability and a strong commitment to learning is a must
• Enthusiastic and a good team player
