Lead Document Controller. This would be a contract position with opportunity for fulltime employment and will be responsible for and involved in document control functions to ensure document integrity and flow in a timely manner. Candidate must be highly motivated to manage multiple projects with a cross functional team. Job Details
Location: Charlotte, NC- Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office)
Hours: M-F 40+ hours per week.
Pay Ranges: Negotiable based on experience and expectations. Per diem will be considered for non-local candidates.
Duration: 1 year with high probability of extension or fulltime employment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the capital projects team and our EPCM team with the review, approval, distribution
and archiving documents and drawings.
• Distribute documents via transmittals to recipients in accordance with the distribution matrix and
standard distribution list and verify that the packages conform to the transmittal.
• Administer, register all internal discipline check (IDC) documents and liaise with engineers, vendors and
site personnel regarding verification of documents.
• Process vendor documentation based on contractual requirements.
• Track and expedite document review cycles.
• Process and distribute project specific documentation and liaise with project and package managers to
monitor drawing packages and project documents.
• Track and file approved engineering changes in relation to drawings/documents including the redlining
and “as-built” documentation.
• Setup project Teams site for project document management as necessary.

Job Qualifications
  • Must have 10+ years of document control related experience.
  • Must have previous experience creating document storage programs from the ground up
  • Must have strong Aconex knowledge
  • Must have Power BI experience creating project KPIs.
  • Experience transitioning documents from local databases and/or SharePoint/Teams sites is a big plus.
  • Experience working for both plant owner and EPC is greatly appreciated.
  • Local candidates to Charlottesville, NC region would be a huge plus.
