The major Oil & Gas Operator client is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join it's team ASAP!
Description:
This position reports to the Contracts Manager and works independently as part of a broad SCM group, using own initiative and judgement within context of the scope of work.
It is necessary to have a basic understanding of contract and procurement management, strong attention to detail and work ethic, good organisational and time management skills.
This role will be responsible for a range of Contracting activities and good aptitude in electronic systems utilisation will be part of the ideal candidate’s existing skill set.

Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- This position works closely with the Projects Contracts Manager and other SCM Team Members to coordinate project contracting and procurement activities ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. Adapt / develop plans, presentations and papers.
- Assist the SCM team with development of Contract and Purchase Order administration, including letter writing, formatting. Identify and resolve process improvements within the function, maintain registers and spreadsheets.
- Assist with managing compliance, assurance and audit activities from start through to end of the project.
- Provide guidance and assistance with contract management post award for a range of project contracts and electronic systems utilisation including Contract Risk Management (previously titled Pro-Con), Ariba/SMART by GEP and reporting.
- Establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders of the project and external parties ABU and other projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Ideally candidates will have exposure to the Oil & Gas / Energy sector
- Solid skills in MS Office suite, and preferably some familiarity with Power BI, ARIBA and Procon.
- Ideally the candidate would have 8-10 years’ experience.
